Chelsea and spurs dominated PFA team of the year
With the 2016/17 PFA team of the year being announced today Chelsea and Tottenham dominate the XI, with only three players outside the pair making the cut, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alexis Sanchez miss out.

with, Eden Hazard, N’Golo Kante, David Luiz and Gary Cahill representing the Blues. For Spurs it was Danny Rose, Kyle Walker, Dele Alli and Harry Kane who made the team.
No player outside the top seven in the Premier League made the team, the first time this has happened since the 2012/13 season.The remaining members of the 2016/17 team were Everton’s Romelu Lukaku, Manchester United’s David De Gea and Liverpool’s Sadio Mane.
